Drethen looks towards the cave Hunter indicated. "I am right behind you Hunter. Come on Jess lets see what the next one holds and hope it is not as smelly or gross." Drethen follows Hunter with jess just ahead of him as he looks about to make sure nothing comes jumping out at them.
Jonathon would follow, though pause at the entrance to look back. Filled with curiosity, the storyteller would sigh before looking back to the rest of the party saying, "Yes, let's go to the next cave."
As the party moves west, they pass through a copse of trees. In the middle of the copse they find another cave. Just outside of this cave mouth there is a weather-bleached wooden sign with a message in large crude letters. It's written in the goblinkin common tongue and Hunter and Jess are just able to make it out..
It reads, "Comrades! Join the cause! Repel the loathsome invaders who profane our ancestral caves with their sacrificial altars! All humanoids welcome!"
Out of Character: Just to confirm this is an additional cave not shown on the map or you are describing the same cave we wanted to go to?
In Character: Hunter rubs his chin and smiles, "Looks like we have some goblin folk around here. Could it be that they fought against the orcs back there?"
Then he does some thinking. "How is it that these caves can have so many different races?" He says while recalling the stories the party told him about their prior adventures in other caves before he joined in with them.
Out of Character: : This is a new cave that wasn't previously on the map. I've edited the map to include the new cave so check out the maps section and don't forget to refresh to get the updated file.
Out of Character: Thanks.
In Character: "Well, no sense passing up this good find right?"
Hunter goes to one edge of the cave's entrance and peers in using his vision to see.... If he finds nothing then he searches the immediate area with bow in hand and arrow ready to go.
Out of Character: Remember he has excellent sense and search.
"Perhaps we can even learn from the goblins what are going on, they could even be of aid in finding the bandits and dark priests we seek," Jonathon would after, considering the potential even adding, "They may even have ideas in how to defeat them."
Onto the question of why there was so many races in these caves the storyteller would ask, "Is it really so many, how many races have actually been found so far?"
In Character: "Hunter did not wish to be distracted while peering in but says, "Didn't you say you had an encounter with kobolds, halflings, then bandits, orcs and now goblins all in such a small space? There must be more to this but shh… I need to check this cave."
