Elf Bowman says...Hunter keeps the light focused and then suddenly experiences a moment of dizziness as he starts to fall asleep… then he suddenly shakes his head and blinks his eyes. "That was weird."

The Watcher from the Aether says... The party cautiously heads down the corridor with Drethen and Gabriel in the lead followed loosly by Ardo and the three bugbears, with Hunger, Delgar, and Jess covering the back and ready to deliver ranged support.
As Gabriel and Drethen reach the mouth of the cave, they start to glow with an eerie light outlining their bodies along with Ardo and the three Bugbears. At the same time, Gabriel and Drethen feel as if they are becoming rigid as one of the bugbears stops moving and stands completely still, in place.
Out of Character: : Gabriel and Drethen need to make a save verses spells or be held.

Elf Bowman says... Hunter lets loose a curse and says, "Well, that's new." While noticing the bugbears lack of movement he starts looking around for a source of the magic.

The Dawn Seeker says...Gabriel feels the magic move over him, the paladin feeling his body becomes rigid and slow. He tries to resist this as he calls to those behind him saying, "Careful! There… is some… sort of… trap or spell. Ah!" The young man fights against the spell, looking to Drethen hoping at least one of them will overcome the effect.

The Dawn Seeker says...Gabriel find himself standing completely still, unable to move and even finding it difficult to try opening his mouth. He curses silently to himself, frustrated it has come to this before the battle even begins and praying this spell can be broken. His eyes are still on Drethen, seeing him try to move backwards, but if he can escape the spell it is unknown.
