The Watcher from the Aether says... Rethal appreciates the support, but he doesn't feel that he will be able to make another meaningful attempt without getting a good night's rest and giving his body and muscles a chance to rest. If Oberon takes another ten minutes to rest up, he feels that he has one more good attempt left in him.
Out of Character: : I'll give you all two meaningful attempts a day. After that, if you want to try the same door again, you'll have to wait till after a full rest.

The Watcher from the Aether says...You can see that the stone mantel runs about 100' in either direction before closing and forming smooth ground. Past the mantel is open field for another couple hundred yards before the woods take over once again. In any case, the briers are thick in every direction leaving only the path that you approached the cave as a navigable route.
