The Watcher from the Aether says... Carefully pulling back the carpet and opening the trap door, Drethen finds that it leads to a ladder that goes down into a dark room.
From what he can tell, the room is very large, about 60' by 30' with a door on the west wall.
Unfortunately, that's all he can make out from this vantage point.

Elf Bowman says...At this point Hunter approaches and waits for the others to go down while guarding to see if anyone approaches. He also looks for any mechanisms that might lock it from above so it does not end up being a trap.

The Watcher from the Aether says... As Ardo and Drethen climb down the ladder, they find the room to be bare and spartan. The light from Ardo's coin reflects off of the cold hard stone and they find nothing other than the door to the west.
Hunter inspects the trap door and finds that it appears to be a plain lid and has no latches or locks.
