Ignoble says...Illthin looks around to see if there are any spell casters among his opponents. If so he uses the crossbow on them. If not, he targets the nearest opponent then wades in with his sword.

The Watcher from the Aether says... Thane fires off two arrows, but the bandits are not as surprised as he thought. They easily dodge the missiles as well as Ardo's hammer.
Delgar has better luck with his sleep spell as three of the bandits pass out. Drethen is caught off guard by the party's attacks while Ilthin is able to injure one of them with his crossbow.
The two remaining bandits each pull out a dagger. One whips his dagger at Ilthin and one at Drethen. They both miss. However, while they do, they are yelling, "Intruders! Intruders!"
