Skreed barely hears Alexi, control and awareness returning as his rage is is consumed by exhaustion and he becomes aware of his wounds.

He begins to raise a dagger to hurl at one of the retreating goblins but winces and grabs his side. Realizing the fight is as good as over he suggests they get to relative safety.

Before leaving the cave he takes an ear from the goblin boss as a trophy (And checks the fallen for loot).

The Repentant Soldier says...

"Lets get our comrades to a safe place" Alexi motions toward the limp bodies of the fallen party members then he begins dragging/carrying them out of the cave and attempts to find an area that is obscured by foliage. Alexi will make several trips if necessary. Once they are all out of the cave, Alexi begins doing his best to bandage any wounds with whatever supplies he has or can scrounge.

Page 41 RPG Main e Dragons and Dungeons Zudguards

Looting the bodies you find precious little treasure. However you gather up:
2 hobgoblin ears (Assuming you are taking one from each body)
7 goblin ears
Greatsword
Longsword
2 scimitars (There were more, but they were damaged beyond repair in the battle) shortbow
12 arrows

As you exit the cave you find the remains of three deer, gutted and skinned. It looks like the Hobgoblin captain was on a hunting trip when you all intruded upon the cave.

Making your way to a secluded spot just outside the cleared area you bandage your wounds and those of your friends, whiling away the time until everyone is awake.

Out of Character:
So everyone is awake now, those who went down, Bennic, Aerendyl, Gradard you are all on 1hp.
Skreed and Alexi, plenty of time for you two to take a short rest in that waiting period if you wish to.

Aerendyl suddenly sits up straight and lets out a groan. "My head is aching" he says. He shifts and tries to move, then he says "Everything is aching."

He looks up at Alexi and says "What happened?" then he looks around and sees that everyone is there in various states of misfortune - but moving a little, and breathing. "We survived, that was surely a miracle. Thanks be to lord Silvanus the Protector."

Aerendyl puts his hands out and feels the grass and sits for a while, looking into the trees. After a few minutes he says "Could we rest here a while? Those goblins gave us a thorough beating, I think we should make a wary retreat back to the village once we are capable of walking again."

Out of Character: Dungeon master, what time is it now? Do we have time for a short rest before dark? Can we see or hear any threats or does it seem to be safe for the moment?

Out of Character: Skreed's racial features should make carrying 2 or perhaps all 3 out of the cave a snap. So no need to make multiple trips. Once everyone is safe he will use some hit dice to recover lost HP.

Skreed claims the Greatsword and an ear from the hobgoblin.

"Try to recover your strength. We do not know what else may dwell in that cave or these woods.".

Brennic shakes his head, he finds it hard to focus.

"Uhh, my head. What were those bigger ones?"

Brennic then regathers his weapons, redistributes his equipment and tries to do something for the splitting headache.

Out of Character: He spends his hit die to recover.
