Daishain's 5e D&D RPG Main Thread - Page 1182

Perry continues walking forward towards the main battle. As he watches his cursed foe fall, he targets another to continue the same general strategy for now. He waits and stays alert for the next stage of this fight.

Specific Action: Move up towards the center but still staying a fair distance away. I don't want to be closer than 60 feet to the center. Bonus Action to move Hex then fire two more Eldritch blasts.

Out of Character: Rolling with advantage in case any are restrained by tentacles, please ignore those if that isn't true. I forgot about it last round.

Cratol takes the hit and grunts in soundless pain but he attacks one of the foes in front of him to take them out. Knowing they can not call for help due to the silent stone helps. He will use a Ki point to add to his attacks.

Page 1182 Thread Main RPG Dragons and Dungeons e Daishains

Accepting the foe’s spell as it impacts his ward, he triggers the magic he has stored in his ring transforming the attack partially into an offense! With a grimace as the slight damage is still able to seat him, let’s forth with a fiery bolt, adding the foes own magic acid to the assault!
Specific Action: trigger absorb elements from the ring as a reaction. I believe the ward takes the full, then Lawrence takes half. That would be net 7, which comes off the temp HP(Thanks Perry!). He then shoots a poly fire bolt with an additional d6 for acid. I’ll roll advantage in case he gets it.

Thread Main RPG Dragons and Dungeons e Daishains

Mari continues her dance of death. She joins Poljen and strikes with him. Her steel blades are a blur as she lunges at her enemy.

Lia keeps advancing calmly at a steady pace. As she draws closer to the melee she will pick out a likely target. Soon afterwards another glowing arrow streaks from.her bow.

Out of Character: : Mari will stay close by Poljen and flank enemies that he engages. Once again she uses her bonus action to strike with her off hand. Lia will target opponents near Poljen and Mari to help clear their path.

Unleashing two eldritch beams, at the nearest foe.

Velon sees that his casting has left him a bit behind the others and that the wizard's construct is starting to suffer. He decides it's time to jump into the fray now that their spells have softened up the crowd of cultists. A second later and with a flash of arcane energy the plate laden paladin is a blur of speed as he explodes into the melee, striking twice against any foes on his intended path directly towards Cyanwrath's wizard.
Out of Character: :

AC = 26 w/Haste
Bonus Action: Quickened Haste [with] sorc points
Movement: 60ft
Hasted Action: 60ft dash
Action: two melee strikes
GWM in action
*Shield spell is always on the table now that haste is up. Will use it against multiple attacks or any big incoming hits. Might not bother against a single arrow or something of the sort, but otherwise please use it.

*like Seath, I'll roll for Advantage incase the tentacles are restraining anyone or I can flank with someone such as Cratol, but otherwise please just ignore.

Mari and Poljen move forward together, they are engaged by a big brute of a man wielding a battleaxe, but between the two, he is swiftly brought down. Lia tries to shoot another cultist charging up at the pair but misses. Poljen is hit twice with a sword.

Tazskan has a little more luck, scoring a light hit on a cultist.

On the other side, Perry uses force bolts to finish off another grappled man as Lawrance fires back, using some of the spell energy used against him to add punch to the bolt.

Cratol strikes back at one of the men confronting him. He doesn't cause much damage, but does manage to trip one to the ground. The other scores a hit on the monk in turn. Morgaine meanwhile runs towards the melee, trying to catch up, she makes it most of the way.

Velon, his movements quickened by a spell, charges in. He engages and immediately strikes down one of the men shielding the woman who seems to be leading the mages with a pair of extraordinarily powerful blows. She looks at him, and casts something which causes the Paladin's armor to rapidly heat up, soon he is starting to cook where he stands. Another man tries to strike at him, but misses. Over by Tazskan, the wall of flame gutters and dies out.

Someone on the other side casts a spell that bolsters some of those wounded by the multiple fireballs cast by the party, helping to heal their wounds. Another casts a spell on Poljen, hoping to slow or stop the barbarian

Something on the construct detonates, causing three cultists nearby to fall with massive holes in their bodies. Twitching, the legs of the thing splay out and cease to move. Cyanwrath and several others are soon clambering on top of the thing, apparently trying to find a weakness in the armored plating.

Out of Character: Velon takes 6 fire damage, and needs to make a Con save or suffer disadvantage on attacks and ability checks next round. Cratol takes 12 slashing damage. Poljen endures 26 (13 after reduction) Poljen must pass a DC 16 Wisdom save or be cursed. If cursed, he must repeat the Wisdom save each turn, failure means standing around and doing nothing for the round.
