The rest of the day drags on, your minds heavy with thoughts. Archival assists everyone (Except Theaton and Jesla) in getting across and going back to town.
Archival summons a pod of dolphins, commands translated by another summoned Silvanshee. Within a few minutes, they find the Stag Lord's body and bring it to shore. It is slightly bloated and its skin has turned a greenish hue with a waxy sheen - not unlike Davik himself. The neck stump is clean of blood, as are the other wounds you remember he sustained and a few tiny fish and crabs populate them.
Because Kresnik had joined the tracking party, that had taken some time and it is afternoon by the time you get to the fort.
That night, Theaton is yet again plagued by bad dreams, and this time Jesla is too. However they are not stressful enough to wake either of you nor strain your mind. In the morning you can't remember the details.
During the day, a hunter from your kingdom passes by the riverbank opposite to Theaton and Jesla, setting traps on land and in water. By afternoon, he returns with rabbits and fish in his hands.
In the evening, Tyg finally arrives, flying over the river. She greets you two and says Bal and Neenah should be here any minute. As if on cue, up splash two creatures from the river. They look like elf children, save for their hair of seaweed and webbed hands and feet. They look almost identical, but one is clothed in leaves, seaweed and lilypads, the other in thick seaweed weave studded with shells and bones.
"Theaton!" They shout in unison. They speak in Sylvan, "We haven't seen you in over a moon! How is your town going? And your house? I don't think we've been invited yet." After small talk Bal, the nixie in lighter clothing, asks, "Why did you bring us here?"
Jesla wakes up in the morning and begins stirring around. She remembers vaguely that she had a bad dream but can remember no details. The barbarian mentions it to Theaton. " I knew it was evil. Why are we the only ones that understand this? Sometimes I feel like maybe something is wrong with me. Everyone else is just matter of fact about giving all evil creatures a chance. I come from a culture that we recognized evil and destroyed it. " Jesla frowns.
After their exchange she remained quiet and allowed the ranger to commune with nature. She roamed around the area just for something to do but never got far from Theaton and White Fang.
When Tyg and the others show up she grins. She speaks to each of them as she is introduced. Jesla studies then closely out of curiosity. When Theaton begins speaking to Tyg about Davik and interpreting she listens intently.

Theaton smiles at Jesla. "They do not want to see him for what he really was I think. Or maybe he was what he said. I do not know I did not want to give that type of evil a place to be in this kingdom. Some evil is ok such as kobolds and other races that are mostly harmless and under our control. The undead are a evil that will not be cowed or see reason. They need to be destroyed."
Later when Tyg and the rest show up Theaton stands up and wades deeper into the river. He will greet each of the Fey personally and tell them he is glad they are here. He will introduce each one to Jesla and tell them she is a good friend and a proven warrior. He takes bit of time to privetely talk to Tyg. Turning to the Fey Speaking in Sylvan. "My friends I have a problem and I think Jesla does too. A few days back we killed a evil entity who was dead but alive up by the old river crossing. Now this entity is entering my mind causing me pain and I dislike it. What if anything can you tell me about him and how we can rid this land of him. I know he wants the body of the stag lord but I am not sure we should give it to him. Plus you all are invited to visit my home any time you want." Theaton stands there in the waist deep water to hear their replies and ideas. He will translate all that he told them and anything they say back so Jesla understand all of this.
Unless Archival orders Mykael to return to Freehold, or Theaton insists that he return Mykael would offer to remain with Theaton and Jesla as well as. Mykael agrees with Jesla that it is dangerous for anyone to be out in the wilds alone especially if Davik has not been destroyed and still represents a threat.
Out of Character: : I did note in my inventory that the magical longsword was returned to Akiros and Mykael is now back to his normal/non-magical longsword (With Iomadae's symbol on it).
Upon finding the body of the Stag Lord, I call upon a team of cavalry archers to escort me - bearing the body - back to the site of Davik's torment. Any that wish to accompany us may do so. I love a good existential discussion and would enjoy discussing any necessary changes and clarifications to our laws after the recent incident.
