
Faerydae has gotten what she needs and is now ready to go to the north with the rest of the party. She will ride in Zork's war wagon so long as he agrees.
Albrecht is also ready to leave, as soon as satisfactory guards and tracker are found. Not wanting to be a burden to his new friends, Albrecht elects to ride Champ alongside the wagon.
Avan turns to the other interviewers, "Well, if the ranger wants to help fight, I won't stop him. One tenth isn't even a full cut when we split between the rest of us, and after what we already earned, I don't think we can complain."
He nods his consent for both hirelings.

In Character: Zork takes note of what the blacksmith does and thanks him for fine work. He make a note of all the parts of the wagon and offers the rest of the party to test where they could shoot arrows.
Out of Character: Before leaving Zork would have purchased:
2 Grain, 50 lbs barrel - 10gps
Excellent wine, Large Barrel, 50 gallons - 25gps
4 weeks of rations - 40 gps
Cups plates, etc 2 gps
10 water skins - 10gps
Zork tells the driver if he is faithful he can get a gold piece a day but he must clean up after everyone and be dedicated to the wagon and horses as if it were his own.
The wine is meant as an incentive for long hard days to have a drink.
In Character: Zork looks at the newly hired ranger and asks, "What do you think? Should we let them come to us on the road or go after them?
Krusten hands the bird trainer 47 gold for the hawk and leather items while asking for tips about the instructions the bird can follow.
After securing her bird and attempting to get to know her by giving treats, Krusten jumps on the wagon claiming the front with the driver is where she wants to be so she can get the best shots.
Avan travels inside the wagon as well, fully engrossed in reading his new manual, rather than keeping an eye out. During rest breaks, he attempts the balancing exercises drawn within the tome.
Zork answers the ranger, "How can we incorporate this wagon? I was actually thinking of making it look like a rich merchant was passing by so it would serve as bait."
