
In Character: Zork raises his hand to stop the wagon from moving forward. He speaks with the ranger noting what he says and comments, "They are probably waiting for us… an ambush maybe."
Out of Character: To better plan we need to know what the terrain is like. Are we on a proper road, path? Is it forested on both sides? Any hills nearby?
Krusten stays with the driver, her bow in hand, and her eyes on her bird friend to see if any other signs are given.
Zork is surprised by the brazen attempt of 6 orc archers but wonders if there aren't more. He rides back to take cover by the wagon and orders the driver to take the wagon to the side so arrow slits can fire and duck behind the barrier. He calls on all those with bows to "Fire!"
In Character:Albrecht coaxes Champ back to the wagon to gather with everyone else. He asks about a plan of attack and tries to follow along with the group dynamics.
Avan is spurred into action, dog earing the page he's on and grabbing his bow. He lines himself up with an arrow slit ready to fire as soon as he sees an orc.
Krusten is not amused by the orcs and becomes excited by the prospects of testing her new bow and arrows. In a moment of pride she looks at the driver and says, "Watch this." Krusten shoots an arrow at each orc.
Faerydae, being the obedient follower she is in any movement, goes to one of the arrow slits looking to see if she can assist in any way through a spell, but as she sees what Krusten's arrows do she smiles. "Bless be Naralis Analor" she says.
