Albrecht is able to slowly drink the potion that Faerydae administers to him. He feels himself recovering, and after finishing the potion, thanks Faerydae for helping him. He then jumps to action helping the others around camp with cleaning up and taking care of the wounded.
Out of Character: KNtoran, would we have to sleep 8 hours from now to recover our spells again? Were the spells we used technically from the day before or were they the spells we would have received for the day that starts in about 2.5 hours? How do you handle interrupted rest?
Out of Character: Since you were interrupted in your rest those that can cast spells will need a full 8 hours of rest before they can once again prepare their spells for the day. You do not have to sleep 8 hours but you can relax and clear your minds for 8 hours, whether it be sleep, nap, trance, or just doing nothing to clear you mind. After that you can once again get full compliment of spells or you can spend rest of the day with only 50% of spell use.
"I guess we will need proof of our work," Avan agrees with Krusten. "Though transporting their heads won't be pleasant."
After the ranger is placed in the wagon, he helps decapitate the bodies and preserve them in any way he knows how to, probably just covering them in cloth. After the graves are done, he has a rest in the wagon (Even though it's probably morning by that time).
Zork looks at Avan and says, "The irrony of you cutting off their heads in the end.... " I think we should not stay in this exact spot but move further south to one of the hills and then make camp. I also think we should drag the bodies to the middle of the road and burn the bodies. It will help us see if anyone approaches and send a warning.
Zork also gathers the horses (How many are there?) and finally comments, "You know we could clothed ourselves in their stuff and enter their place easily now." He then says to the last survivor, "You will not talk but you get to go all the way back to a place where many will torment you for your crimes."
Zork orders the drivers to get the wagon to higher ground before they sleep for the night.
Faerydae sees the damage to the horse, feels sorry and immediately tries to treat it hoping the horse allows her to help heal. "Calm boy… I want to help you… "
Seeing its already daylight Zork orders the driver forward offering to interchange with him and the rest of the party so they can take rest in the war wagon.
The heads should be kept in a closed sack to the top of the war wagon where it can dry and be free from predators.
Albrecht is a little leery of chopping of heads for bounty, but is willing to go along with it for the party. He doesn't participate in chopping them off, but helps with piling bodies and stripping them of armor and other things. Having found another horse (Even if it is injured) is fortuitous as it should be able to help the party move faster and/or carry more stuff, once its healed. As Faerydae is trying to heal it, Albrecht comes with her to help calm the animal so she can apply bandages. He tells Champ to guard the wagon, and walks toward the horse holding his hands open in a non-threatening manner. As the animal allows him to get close he gently strokes its neck, where it is not burned.
Out of Character: Albrecht is using Wild Empathy to change the horse's attitude one step toward friendly. I don't know where it is starting, but since it is domestic, I think it should be neutral. The bonus is Druid level+Charisma modifier=0. If that fails, then Albrecht attempts a handle animal check to get him to calm down (Aiding Faerydae's check).
