Faerydae calls upon her deity for protection as they go into what looks like a compromising position. She looks all around trying to tweak her ears to hear the most indistinct sounds.
Without thinking, Albrecht reached out telepathically to the person leading the group. He called out saying Something is not right, Champ is spooked. We should stop and gather together. Champ's heckles rose on his back, just in front of where Albrecht was riding. He had been with his trusted companion enough to trust him and know that he had sensed danger, even if Albrecht didn't know what was going on.
Out of Character: Even though I am not clear on our marching order, I am sure Albrecht can see who is leading us. I am also assuming we are all within 20ft of each other. If the leader is further along then that, then Albrecht speaks to whoever is furthest ahead, but still within his radius (20ft).
Zork stops his horse. He raises his hand and says, "We are not going to find anything here that will leave us in one piece. Let's turn back. We are no match for moving rocks!" Zork turns around his horse and starts riding away as quickly as possible in the opposite reaction.
Out of Character: Marching order is set on your character sheet. You put yourself at the head, check under your avatar.
Krusten says, "The next time we come north we have to be ready to stay and take whatever is dished out." In a sigh she turns around and heads back south hoping that on the way a firm decision can be made about the next task.
Albrecht is glad to be turning around, as Champ seems really agitated by whatever lies ahead in the pass. His nerves are still on high alert though as he continues to follow the group back south.
Out of Character: I am fine with the bugbears.
Faerydae believes in some way her prayers were answered when the party decided to turn around. She willingly follow in whatever direction they go.
Avan turns his horse around but remains watching the pass intently, ready to pop smoke at the slightest provocation.
"Spiders?" says Zork not quite expecting that in the open. He charges with his horse hoping to get him into the battle as well.
