Not satisfied with her inability to see much she signals to Zork that she is going in. She moves carefully to one side of the cave rather than the middle of it.
"It's not magical," Durgan says to Zork. "Probably safe to pull it apart if you want plates for armor."
Zork to Avan: "You can stay and have a look around, right now I need to get to Krusten she went down the other exit and may need help."
Zork leaves for the other corridor.
"I think it's alive, somehow. We can't just leave it here… " Avan trails off as he looks back to see Zork is gone.
"Let's see how to get you out of there." He begins rummaging on his person and through his bag, but all his weapons are blunt. Perhaps an arrowhead? Or a shard of glass from a vial? Ah, the fine file out of the thieves tools!
He turns back to the frame, tiny file in hand, and spies the honking large axe in its hands. As he grabs it he thinks, oh, the fingers are articulated. It must be armor after all. Living armor? Certainly not the strangest thing.
Avan attempts to use the axe blade to cut the wires.
"Don't move! If I release my bow you will die, who are you… what are you doing here?" says Krusten in an angry tone when she sees the stranger.
Ildrahil looks at her and that pointy arrow aimed at him. She looks quite menacing with that thing aimed at him. Realizing this is probably the end he says with the bravado he doesn't feel, "I'm here to clean out this den of vipers. Your days be just as numbered as that mage you work for. Ye'll be meeting him soon enough on the 7th level of Hell, relay my greetings." He inches forward, hoping his movement isn't noticed.
Krusten shouts back, "What? I work for no mage… you're the one coming out of this cave. Do not dare me… take another step and I will kill you where you are!"
Out of Character: And just in case he wants to test Krusten… my rolls *wink*.
