Out of Character: If you look up the Command spell, it says language-dependant. So maybe, as long as the dragon speaks Common. That's even if you're willing to get close to a dragon.
In Character: Jumping out of the wagon, Avan begins pushing it towards the side of the road. "I can't do this alone," he says. "When we're in the trees, I can cover the wagon in a cloud of mist so the dragon will pass by without seeing it. If you're not pushing then go and hide!"
Out of Character: That command spell may be very useful if the range doesn't mean Faerydae getting too close otherwise I would rather her hide this one out as she is our healer.
Out of Character: This rounds action should be one of inaction if you get what I mean. We need to hope that dragon keeps going south or towards elsewhere.
Avan says, "I would let the curious elf go. It's entirely his choice and he might report back with a valuable experience. I should still be able to obscure our location."
Not confident in his own words, Avan grabs his pack out of the wagon, puts his book in and puts it on.
Out of Character: Did I miss something in our plan about going to chit chat with the dragon or is Tilantre looking to commit suicide by sacrificing himself to the dragon as dessert?
Out of Character I was just showing my intelligence, Tilantre heard the crunch of bones and wanted to make sure that the party was OK but he got scared and stopped.
Out of Character: Nosaj, yeah but that was a risk we couldn't afford so hand to stop you before you stop yourself.
