Out of character I think having a fire will be just fine, especially with one or two keeping watch. If TIlantre sees something he can make an animal sound or come wake the party up to warn everyone. If the party is worried about the fire being seen they could build some sort of shelter to keep the fire hidden, plus the shelter will aid in keeping warmth close to the bodies. Out of Character: I sent my birdie to do your bidding.
In Character: Krusten looks at the driver again, "Do I make you nervous?" She winks, "You don't have to answer that."
In Character: Not really interested in the driver except to tease she sighs and looks at the road, her bum feels sore at times from the discomfort of the war wagon.
Out of Character: For some reason my spot and listen checks are always the worst. I hope they are good this time.
Out of Character: In general it is not a good idea to suddenly leave the group and trudge off, Nosaj. A) we are stronger as a group and B) no one knows what you are doing or if there is danger. Of course we as the controlling entities know everything going on, but we can only act on what our characters know. And Krusten, I am sure your luck will turn around eventually. It always worked out that my checks sucked, but Champ's checks were great, until this last roll.
