Out of Character: Alright I need confirmation from Icon about summoning and I can be at the front again. Probably he can cast them just ahead of me or should we both rush in?

The Wild Whisper says...

Out of Character: Txtrpg, as best as I can tell, the spell Icon is wanting to use is summon swarm, but once he summons it, the thing will attack whatever is closest. So the best bet is for there to be a front line (Lets say you, me, Champ, and a wolf I summon) to push into the cave and keep the minotaurs distracted, then Avan just behind us to summon a swarm on the far side of the minotaurs (His spell only has range of about 30 feet), so that the swarm won't attack us. Then we protect Avan so he can maintain concentration on the spell and keep the swarm attacking the minotaurs. I think we should all tactfully withdraw, as the minotaurs will most likely run away from the swarm (They can't do any damage with their weapons to the swarm), and we don't want to get caught in the swarm.

Icon, feel free to correct me if you were thinking something else.

Dark Druid says...

Out of Character: Yeah, that sounds like the best plan. So Albrecht summons the wolf first and I wait to get visual contact with the enemy. So, to restate what you just said:

Surprise round:
Albrecht full round action to summon wolf.

Round 1:
Wolf appears and attacks closest enemy in cave. Possibly gets knocked into the water.
Albrecht, Zork and Champ enter.
Avan comes in behind that line, waits to see an enemy then begins his summon spell.
Faerydae and Krusten bring up the rear and fire if possible.

Round 2:
Wolf, Albrecht, Zork and Champ all attack.
Avan finishes summoning.
Swarm of Spiders appears behind Minotaur and swarm him.
Faerydae and Krusten shoot.

Round 3:
Wolf disappears.
All retreat.
Avan maintains concentration.
Swarm keeps swarming.

At that point the Minotaur can either retreat deeper with the swarm chasing, or come out to keep fighting, where we might be able to push him off the ledge into the water. I would have to cease my concentration early, because I don't want to swarm my allies for 2 rounds.

PS: Avan tried to heal the mule, I assume he did so and it's gone on its way.

Out of Character: I like this plan. I'll let Txtrpg make a post in the other thread about making an attack tonight, and then Albrecht will suggest Zork, him, and Champ take the lead and we'll go from there.

Out of Character: Rolling initiative may screw the order around, but we can use the delay action to get it into an order we prefer. I don't mind someone posting on my behalf.

Out of Character: What about the horses should I stay with them? I don't mind they are war horses so they may help Faerydae out if she is attacked.
