Baldwin - an actor, possible NYC Mayoral candidate, and really mean to his 'little pig' daughter - says Weinergate was no big deal and that he was probably just blowing off steam. Glenn plays the audio of Baldwin chewing out his 11-year-old daughter via voicemail and wonders, if it were Weiner vs. Baldwin running for Mayor - who would he vote for? Ref. Source 7

The head of the Democratic National Committee is calling for the resignation of U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner, who has been under fire after admitting to inappropriate communications with women online.

"It is with great disappointment that I call on Representative Anthony Weiner to resign," DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz said in a statement Saturday. "The behavior he has exhibited is indefensible and Representative Weiner's continued service in Congress is untenable.

"This sordid affair has become an unacceptable distraction for Representative Weiner, his family, his constituents and the House -- and for the good of all, he should step aside and address those things that should be most important -- his and his family's well-being."

And House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi and Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee chair Steve Israel have told Weiner he should resign, a Democratic source with k nowledge of the conversations told CNN. Both released statements also demanding his resignation Saturday.

Embattled Democratic New York Rep. Anthony Weiner will resign his seat in the House of Representatives, a senior Democratic source says.

Weiner, who represented New York's 9th District since 1998, admitted earlier this month that he had sent lewd images and messages over the Internet to six women and more illicit relationships had emerged since then. The congressman had taken a two-week leave of absence "to focus on becoming a better husband and healthier person," his spokeswoman said. Ref. CNN

A few days ago, Michael Savage presented a theory of why Weiner went through this right at this time, especially since he has been doing this type of things for so long. Savage's theory is that Weiner came out strongly against something Obama was trying to do recently, so this was his punishment.
