The movie The Exorcist was based on a real case that happened in 1937, in St. Louis, MI, to a 13 years old Catholic boy who had playing with an ouija (not sure of correct spelling) Board. He had played with the board for 4 months before the possession began.

A priest was called to conduct an exorcism. The exorcism took four months and the priest lost nearly 50 pounds in his nightly confrontation with evil. It had reached an impasses and the priest had come to belief that no exorcism would be obtained. During this session, when the boy was yelling all manner of physical insults and cursing, a new voice came through the boy. In a loud firm note this voice stated, "I am the arch angel Michael and I command you to leave now." And it was over. But they sure didn't show that in the movie.

Possession exists because people invite the creatures into their lives and the problem is that we do not always know what the many forms of invitation involve. There is a form of invitation that asks if it can enter your home -- if you don't know it don't let it in.

But there are many levels of human/demonic interaction ranging from mild temptation to building rage into a person.

And so you know when I confront evil it is always with my feet firmly planted and my right arm raised to the T.

I don't see anything wrong with his method but its missing the preparation that goes into this kind of thing. Remember the disciples tried this and failed because they lacked the mental and spiritual attributes that it takes to get it done.

I've followed this thread looking to see if anyone obtained Dr. Mel Fish's book "Healing the Inner Self" I first met Mel in 1979, and through the years keep bumping into each other at various times. The last time we met was at a seminar and he was the quest speaker. We both use the EFT (emotional freedom technique) but use different modalities. His personal experiences in casting out devils were most interesting and WOW to me.
The most interesting experience he had probably affects many of us in one way or another. He said it was at fast and testimony meeting. Mel bore a simple testimony and sat down. After the meeting a new member came up to him and said "I need to talk to you" so he made an appointment that afternoon. This brother told him this story. About ten years ago he was living a gay lifestyle, and had recieved a telephone call from President Kimball. He was invited to return to church activity, to get his life in order. He felt he must do that, as a Prophet had invited him to do. He married, had two children, and still had those tendencies that was causing him to really struggle. At the testimony meeting as you bore your testimony, I saw an angel standing next to you, and he pointed to me saying "this man can help you" so thats why I'm here. Can you help me. Brother Fish, in this spiritual work had found that female entities attach themselves to mortal men. The female entities are attracted to men, and the mortal men are swayed by their desires. For mortal women, male entities have the same effect on the women. Brother Fish has found that he can cast out the entities, or entice them to leave on their own by moving towards the light of Christ. Or he can call upon Warrior angels to escort these entities away. The man thanked him and went home. This mans wife called Bro. Fish to tell him that she had her husband take out the trash five times that evening, because its the first time she's seen him walk like a man. And Thank-you. This man referred 30 of his old friends to Mel who was successful with 28. The other two really didn't want to change.
I have tried his method with a couple of my children and it does work. You can send spirits on their way by speaking to them through your mind alone. This is where Satan is concentrating his efforts the most, and seems to be having great success.
All of us united could counter his moves by working together in the "Battle of Good & Evil"

When someone is on drugs, I mean when they are really high are they also possessed? Some of the things they say and do its like a different person but at the same time like another person speaking.

Comments: Drugs are considered to be the short way to black magic. They open up a person to all kinds of influences, none of them good, and some of them down right evil. A drug induced state is perfect for demonic influences to control.

When someone is high on drugs they're already possessed you know what am I saying? The way they act, talk, see things, etc shows that Satan is already in control.

Joe Public is correct, any substance that causes you to loose control of your body is a gateway for entities in enter. Also included would be surgery where you're put under a general anaesthesia unless you're given a blessing before hand to protect you. Some autistic friends of mine who can see peoples spirit and energies that surround the body have said that when people get a tattoo, the body energies go around the tattoo, and the tattoo acts as a gateway for entities also. A surgical incision is an intrusion of the body and the body energies will go around the cut. This however can be healed by a stroke of the hand over the scar to redirect the energy.
The temple clothing is a real protection against entities, when worn properly. One needs the whole armor of God to be fully protected in these times.
