In this edition you start with a 10 armor class or AC and as you add armor and other armor bonuses your AC will go down.

I can't put the actual links. I didn't use a generator. From what I understand the version of Dungeons & Dragons that is being used here is not the same as the generator. If you go to page 6 or 7 of this post you will read what he asked me for to create my character.
