Out of Character: I think 4 hour shifts will give us a better sleep. It also goes without saying that we took the items, hopefully they fit between 3 horses.
Out of Character: Sorry about the keep back. I will add my rolls now and follow whatever decision Icon made about the watch. I made one set of rolls for the dogs.
The night passes quietly. The day starts out good with a light wind and the promise for a warm day. As you begin to continue your journey back to the town you dogs become alert looking ahead and growling.
Out of Character: You were able to get everything on the horses but only one would be able to ride.
Out of Character: You are in a dense forest heading back to the town a couple hours from the ruins you just left. You can not see very far ahead of you about 60-80 feet at a time. There are all kinds of places to hide but moving the horses off to the side will take a bit longer and noiser.
Durgan would be the only one on the unloaded horse. He says, "Stay close together." He leans over and touches Sessativa to give her Aid from his god.
"You, too Zork. Come closer, I can't see." He reaches out his arms.
Sessativa had been leaning on her quarterstaff as she walked along, instantly holding it in a defensive stance as she believed danger was close. She readied to attack if anything came threateningly close.
Out of Character: Rolling temporary hit points for Aid, first Sessativa, then Zork. It also grant a +1 to attack and damage rolls!
Zork frowns… "There may be bandits in wait for us so they can take the treasure."
