Gabriel would offer his own strength as well to the endeavor, trying to lift and open the door as everyone else. Edited: Thomaslee on 2nd Sep, 2016 - 12:45pm
"I would not be much use, I'm afraid," says Davik "I will be on guard incase there are undead waiting in ambush. Getting here almost seemed too easy with what you told me of the last time you came here."
Everybody who can get a hand on the door does and tries to push the door open. Despite everybody's efforts, the door gives a little, then a little more, then stops dead. No matter how much more effort everybody puts into it, the door will budge no more.
The party is left with a stone door that is open just enough to allow a small person through, say as small as a halfling…
"Perhaps a different approach is in order," says Davik "I think I can squeeze through here. Once I have done so, you go and attack the other entrance. I will go in and try to find the priests. If we can take out the priests, they will be unable to create more undead, and we can deal with the horde at our leisure."
Hunter looks at the smallest man in the party.... "Can you fit in there?" He uses his bullseye lantern to shine through and show up what's on the inside.
Hunter is able to scan about half of the room. The other half can't be seen due to the small opening in the doorway. From what he's able to see, the room has been cleared out of all corpses, barrels, and anything else that may have once inhabited the room. The only thing remaining appears to be the dust particles that light up on the beam of his bullseye lantern as they float lazily through the air.
On the side wall, Hunter is able to spot the lever that Jess had eluded to, that the undead used to open the door from in the room.
Davik squeezes through the hole and inspects the area around the lever for any traps.
