"Davik, if the potion works like my spell. It will allow you to teach Rusty a quite a few tricks depending on how intelligent he is, though I think it takes at least a week to teach it a trick and has to be done within a few months of using the spell. None the less it would be best if either you are way out front or a little ways behind us if you wish to keep Rusty."
Despite Delgar's searching, he's not able to find any books or papers that appear to be the necromancer's spell books.
Davik inspects the secret door and is unable to find any traps and the door does not appear to be locked.
Gabriel approaches Ardo and says, "Let me take a look at that bite. That does look nasty. I'll try to cure disease on it, just in case that cat had something."
Provided Ardo doesn't object, Gabriel proceeds to cure any diseases that may have gotten in the wound.
"Gabriel I would be most appreciative for that. I was hoping to be able to find out what this wound was so I could find a cure as I do not think my healing spells were going to work."
"This door does not appear to be trapped," Davik says "I will go to the back of the party, and keep Rusty out of trouble."
He does give much thought into Ardos idea about an Animal Friendship potion. He thinks about acquiring one after replacing Gabriel's armour and his own Longsword.
Out of Character: As a Blacksmith, would I know how much armour like Gabriel's would cost, and could I cut down on it if I made it myself? Also, in our time, we've found ways of protecting metals from rust (For example, metals like Stainless Steel are almost immune to rusting). Is there anything like that in this world?
Hunter looks on waiting on the party to come to some conclusion about their next move.
Out of Character: While taking everything on the horse is OK we need to ensure we are not taking cursed items.
Ardo is waiting for the group to decide if they want to enter that secret passage or head back toe the keep. "So Davik says there is no traps, someone want to try and open that passage or we just heading back to town now and come back later once we have sorted through everything?"
Out of character: Not sure how we can decipher between cursed and none cursed items at this point until we get them identified.
"I would prefer to check it out now as we are right here his spell book maybe in there as it doesn't seem to be out here and who knows what else he may have or perhas it's just an escape tunnel but I'm guessin his spell book is that way he wouldn't have it too far away"
Drethen opens the door and walks in. We need to finish what is in this place and make sure no more surprises. Drethen heads inside with his sword and shield ready in case there is something or some one inside.
