Glad to be 'back' Hunter is determined to no pay much attention to any object or picture in the area and looks for the nearest exit. "I fear we will be doomed if we stay in this area at least that is what it felt like a second ago. And, thanks Ardo, I owe you one."
Once Hunter comes back to his senses, he quickly sprints by both Gabriel, who never really had a chance to grapple with Hunter, and Drethen, who remains on the floor unable to move.
In his haste, he discovers that there are two doors that lead out of this room. One to the east, which they entered through, and one to the west.
Ardo see Drethen struggling and he starts to try and pull whatever is attacking him off even though he cannot see it.
Hunter heads for the door to the west pausing only to check the door and listen but ensuring not to look either left or right. He has his bow ready for when he kicks the door open.
The paladin moves to where Ardo and Drethen are, desiring as well to help in getting whatever has a hold of his companion. He will use his divine senses to try and detect what may be going on, to see if evil might be in the room hidden from sight.

As Ardo inspects Drethen's body, he discovers a gooy, oozy substance that is clear and almost invisible to normal sight, which appears to be enveloping Drethen's legs. As Ardo is discovering this, he feels a oozing pseudo pod form out of the substance as it appears to swing at him. Fortunately, the pod misses its mark.
As Gabriel concentrates, he doesn't register any feeling of evil intent.
Hunters inspects the door to the west. He doesn't find any traps or hear any noises. Kicking the door open, he finds a ten foot wide by fifty foot long corridor that has a door on each wall.
Gabriel takes out his morningstar, preparing to attack the creature as it swings at Ardo, and moves to hit the pod so the creature may leave Drethen be.
Hunter tells the party, "There is a way out here what are you waiting for?"
Seeing Ardo reacting funny around Drethen he says, "What are you doing?" Upon understanding the situation he curses himself, pulls out his sword and tries to help.
