The paladin will draw Fuascailt on hearing the growl, preparing for what may have made such a noise. Gabriel will consider that it might be a false alarm or yet it may be the very werewolf they be looking for. Speaking softly, he will say, "Well now, we weren't out here long."

Elf Bowman says... Hunter takes a chance and shoots two quick arrows from his bow hoping for a hit. As soon as he does that he says, "Light your torches and lanterns!"
Out of Character: I normally get a +3 so that will be a -1 on the roll. I don't know if that is on damage so I left it out.
Hunter Results:
- Attack on D20 (-1): 1, 0 (2 rolls)
- Damage on D6 (+3): 8, 6 (2 rolls)

The Watcher from the Aether says... Hunter's arrows whisper quietly into the underbrush and disappear from sight. The growling stops for a moment, but no other sound is heard.
After a moment, just when you think whatever it was has left, a large blurry shape bursts out of the foliage towards you. It takes a moment for you to realize the shape is that of a wolf, bigger than any you've seen.
It charges you with teeth bared and fiery red eyes focused on you.
(Initiative and actions, please.).
