Ardo watches as the people talk of this beast being cornered. Leaning over to the closest local Ardo asks, "Is this abbey close by and how do I get there from here? I want to see this so called beast with my own eyes."
While one could hardly sleep with a comet floating in the sky Hunter seeks a room and checks the comet from his window looking to see if it moves or changes in any way.
He offers a suggestion to the party, "Shall we check that abbey tomorrow?"
Gabriel offers in reply to his companions, "Yes, perhaps tomorrow yet perhaps a couple of our party wish to go now?" He gives a questioning look to Ardo and Drethen, hoping for some clarity on their consideration.
In response to your queries, the bartender says "The abbey isn't too far from here. About ten minutes across town. I'm not sure what you'll find, but I'm certain that Luc le Chaudronnier can use all the volunteers he can get as he's leading the hunt."
"If you head over there, ask for him directly. But, I wouldn't suggest getting involved if you're not willing to aid the hunt." This last he says with a look of seriousness that would give you the impression that Luc le Chaudronnier is a very serious man who doesn't have time for idle interference or anybody or anything that would detract from apprehending this creature.
In the morning, if the party is in agreement, Hunter first checks the status of the comet and then pays Luc le Chaudronnier a visit to inquire about the beast and offer their services.
Out of Character: maybe someone should ask him about the items we need?
"Gentleman I am heading over there now, that is one of the names that was on the peace of paper. Not going to try my luck and go in the morning when he might be gone. Rest if you need it but I will return shortly after talking to this Luc. But if any of you want to stretch your legs I am not against company."
