Thats right, on page 839 it mentions the well, a sluice, and a bronze bucket.
There may be a lever, or something to empty /fill the sluice?
Otherwise, Poljen may need to manually, fill bucket with water. Then tip water down sluice, where, it ends up in pool room.
Or maybe, Lia can just let well overflow magically, with excess water draining down sluice, and into pool room?
Does that sound right? Not sure of the mechanics.
We know that the pipe from the sluice, ends in the pool anyhow so the water isn't going anywhere else.

Anron you can round down on the damage to six and damage is always applied to your Hit Points. There are only a few exceptions to that such as taking it off of any temporary hit points first or some or all of the damage being absorbed by an abjuration wizard's arcane ward.
So, it is a keep actually straddling a river. There can't be too many of those… certainly not that many openly flying Zhentarim banners. Maybe after a rest a further scry attempt, once spell slots are recovered that is, we can narrow down the location. Unless someone can figure out where it is. Would that be a History check or something else? Not that Poljen would have a good shot at any INT check… but maybe someone else has the right skill.
Thats a good idea Paul, since all the spellcasters, are temporary out of action.
Both Lawrence and Tazskan, will be sending their familiars, to assist with the Diderius problem. Therefore, are at your disposal.
