Don't worry Sue, as for the dragon we all will get to fight the dragon if its required. As there is two missions happening here, at once.
I'm waiting to see if Cinder puts his ace card down on the table? With the teleportation scroll.
But if that ain't happening, Taz will come back down, and fight the beast, even if it means pulling the cork out!
How long is this tunnel anyhow?
I just looked it up and apparently Perry can cast Teleportation Circle from the scroll as well. We will need to roll though since it's a level 6 spell in this campaign. Still better to have Lawrance do it since I can't inspire myself even though I do get that Jack of All Trades bonus.
Wow, his first roll was a nat 1. I guess per RAW there's no such thing as a [Critical Hit] fail on a skill check, but I forget how Daishain does it. If the Help is allowed, that's a much better display of Lawrance's skill!
Assuming it opens, now we just have to get through without someone getting pounced on by a driger, or something. Let's keep the arguing over who goes through last to less than a week in real time, mk? .
There'd better not be since activating a magic item doesn't benefit from critical successes. Also, we can take our time if in the cube, since we are protected. Still what a horrible time to fumble, if it applied! Even with a one to start, the total still succeeds.
Don't worry, Perry won't offer to go last, (Laugh).
By the way, did you guys hear about the new Dungeons & Dragons adventure module coming out later this year that's called Waterdeep: Dragon Heist? That's oddly coincidental given current events. The dragon in the title refers to gold coins, but still pretty funny.
