Tazskan, finds a quiet place to talk in private with Perry.
"Perry, it is with regret that I must temporary leave the group," He says, then pauses.
"Recently, it was brought to my attention of an important problem that has occurred with my clan,"
He continues.
"I will be back as soon as practically possible," he adds.
Tazskan, pulls out of his pocket two pouches.
The first on has a diamond in it, the second 500 gold. Then gives them to Perry.
"Perry, I need you to promise me that this diamond be used to resurrect a party member, only" He says.
"The 500 gold, can be used for expenses relating to the castle," he adds.
Perry takes the items from Taz but looks a bit worried, "Sure thing Taz, I'll hold onto these for you as a friend. But shouldn't you tell the whole group about this or is this a secret mission of sorts? What do you want me to tell them while you are away? Are you saying you won't be able to join us in dealing with the green dragon? I hope everything is okay with your clan."
"To tell you the truth, right now I would rather be dealing with the green dragon," Tazskan answers.
"My own clans honor, has been challenged, and is at stake," he continues.
"I have a long journey ahead back to my homeland. I didn't think, I would be going back so soon," he adds.
"I must, now leave but would like to keep in contact, May the gods grant you a honorable victory, over the green dragon," he says, whispering at the end.
"Very well, good luck. We will eagerly await your return. I do hope that it won't all be business and that you will have some fun while you are back home. Bring me back a cool Dragonborn souvenir!"
Perry laughs as he pats Taz on the back. "We'll miss you, buddy."
Cratol faces the leader and does not react to his taunts. He will use a Ki point as he attacks the leader.
Out of Character: As the others ran he would used the action to heal himself. DC of 15 vs dexterity or be knocked down. Edited: KNtoran on 30th Jun, 2018 - 1:01am
Perry sits around a dining room table in Castle Blaze, he has a tri-fold piece of wood in front of him among a scattering of papers. "Okay guys, so we have some time here before our next mission so I thought we could unwind with a new game here. It's called Lairs and Lizards. I'm playing the role of Lair Master. Here's how it works: I tell you the setting, you tell me what you want to do, then I'll tell you what to roll to try and do it. Make sense? Okay! Let's jump right in here."
Perry deepens his voice to that of a narrator, "You find yourselves in the city of Mithral Hall. The King, Bruenor Battlehammer, has tasked you with exterminating a pack of rabid wolves in the Moonwood to the East. Upon making your way to the Moonwood, you find a destroyed campsite and hear a woman scream in the distance. What do you do?" Edited: seath on 1st Jul, 2018 - 2:34pm
"Hey, I'll give it a go!" exclaims Velon. "Is this one of those games where you roll dice? I've seen that in tavern before. How many? As many as I want? NO? Bah, I'll tell you what. I'll roll ALL of the dice, and you figure it out."
"So I want to play one of this big brawny types, a real hero. Hm, then again, I'm not very knowledgable about magic in real life, so it would be fun to pretend to be a wizard. Ok, ok, I've got it. I'll be a little of both. I give you "Ox of the Great Stone Library Clan."
"I hit the woman, really, really hard. Many times. He picks up a large stone and begins to bludgeon her. Actually, Perry, are there other people in the party? Eh, no matter, roll with it. 'I AM OX! I HIT STUFF, BIGLY! THERE IS NO 'ME' IN TEAM, SO I'll NEED YOU TO ALL STAND BACK SO I CAN DO THIS ALONE AND BOAST ABOUT IT LATER.' Ox does not realize that there is indeed a 'me' in 'team', depending on how you look at it."
"Out of Character: , Perry, I assume he gets advantage on every attack, because he IS Ox, after all. Plus, I'll be so mad if I miss, like, EVER. Here we go… "
Perry lets out a long sigh as he puts his palm over his face, "Ugh, this was clearly a mistake. What have I done?" he thinks to himself.
"Velon… this isn't the type of adventure where we kill everyone we see. How do you know she wasn't a nice lady? And why are you rolling so many dice? Just roll one of these and then one of these." Perry shakes his head, seemingly disappointed.
Perry shows Velon the proper way to play then continues, "Okay, you brutally murder the cute brunette as she screams out. Blood spatters across the surrounding grass and trees. However, her screams and the smell of blood attracts a pack of…," Perry rolls some dice, "... 8 wolves and 1 dire wolf! You are surrounded now. What do you want to do?"
Perry leans in, "This might be a good time for a spell that hits multiple enemies. Just a tip since you're new to the game. Just look on your sheet under 'Spells' right there. Yup, right there." Edited: seath on 1st Jul, 2018 - 3:21pm
