Mari steps to the side to watch with curiosity. Will the newcomer challenge Poljen at last she wonders.
Lia flies above the combatants on her broom to observe and be there if needed." I'm here if something goes really.... Wrong. Don't worry."

Out of Character: : I guess we are ignoring distance. No worries. I will run with it.
In Character: :
Poljen nods in respect as Morgaine' first strike connects, but he seems unconcerned. He lets out a roar and returns the strikes with his axe.
Out of Character: : Poljen suffered 16 points of damage, reduced to 8 by Rage. His axe does an extra d6 of cold damage if it connects. However, Morgaine has a ludicrously high AC...
Perry hurriedly runs to the kitchen and grabs all the snacks he can find. He grabs cheese pastries, jerky, and pies - some of which are blueberry. As he runs back to the courtyard, he yells throughout the castle, “Fight in the courtyard, fight in the courtyard! Poljen versus Morgaine, brawn versus… brawn!”
When Perry arrives to the courtyard, he pulls out his hat and goes around to the onlookers and says, “Place your bets, ladies and gentlemen! We’re putting together a pool here! As for me, I’ve got 10 gold on Poljen since he’s always so nice to me!”
Out of Character: Feel free to wager some coin in Perry’s hat and we can see who wins.
Morgaine feels the axe go into her flesh and though it stung quite a bit she shakes it off and turns and swings her long sword at Poljen.
Out of Character: Morgaine takes 17 points damage.
Velon can't help but chuckle at Perry's comment about a certain Blaze member being kind to him. The paladin just folds his arms and watches, a wide smile on his face as he enjoys the entertainment. He glances up and sees Lia flying overhead and feels lucky that the group has come this far.
"I'm not the smartest man… "begins Velon, looking around at all of the castles occupants. "... Well, yeah, anyway, I do know enough not to gamble versus Perry AND bet against Poljen in a fair fight all in one drop of my coin. I have 10 on Poljen, but who will take the bet so there is something to win?" The red haired one drops his 10g into Perry's hat and raises an eyebrow at everyone else around to see if anyone has the guts to bet on the newcomer. He takes a blueberry pastry from Perry and begins to chew, remembering his manners and brushing crumbs from his beard before Lia, or Perry for that matter, see his mess once again.
Out of Character: . I think Morgaine only takes 12 damage as it was Poljen's first attack that struck. He rolled two d20's because of the Advantage given by his reckless attack, so the 28 was attack #1 despite being the second dice. Morgaine will also have advantage on all attacks against him any turn after he uses Reckless Attack (Which you may have already rolled, I can't see it yet).
Lawrance sips on a hot cider (Makes it comfortably hot with magic, if needed) and watches the conflict. He says to Lia "I've actually picked up an interesting healing spell, myself. It takes my own life force and amplifies it so I can send it as healing to another. Considering how little I have been injured in our real battles, I think it will be useful to keep our friends on their feet.Or perhaps if I need to help you, our main healer, in an emergency."
Later on, in between sips, he comments on the blows and damage clinically, discussing the different effects and graphically detailing the damaged tissues, muscles, etc. A slight smirk on his face. Sometimes, you can see him glancing sidelong at the people snacking. "Oh, that cut has exposed a bloody wound, for sure! Look at the way the flesh is peeled back and how shiny the tendon beneath is. Almost looks like the inside of a strawberry tart, they way the blood drips down along the injury, coating his skin."
Tazskan, looks on in interest as Poljen begins sparing with Morgaine.
He sees Perry, offering bets, on them both, offering a hat to drop coin into.
"Sure, why not I have 15 on Morgaine," he drops 15 gp into the hat, then smiles at Velon.
"Is that blueberry, I'll take one of those," he adds, as he takes a blueberry pastry, from him.
Tazskan, is also holding an ale, but drinking it slowly, taking in the two combatants.
Perry is halfway through biting into a strawberry tart as he overhears Lawrance's gross lecture. Perry removes his mouth from the tart and looks over to the wizard disapprovingly, "Seriously, Lawrance?! You did that on purpose!"
