Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 Play By Post Party Leader - Page 365

Bastion says, "Indeed. I don't see a need to change our plans at present. Let us keep scouting for the day, maybe engage some patrols to whittle down their numbers."

Bastion kicks one of the fallen forms, "If we find that there are a large number of these around however, I'd suggest we back off and reassess. A construct takes a great deal of magical ability and resources."

The Wild Whisper says...

Albrecht listens as the other two discuss how to proceed, thinking his own thoughts. As they come to an agreement to keep to the plan of attacking at night, Albrecht says "I agree too", but little more. He is thinking deeply about the constructs and what that means about the larger Gnoll community. This kind of magic shouldn't be easy, they may have more help than just Gnoll brethren.

He takes the time to quickly search the bodies for anything valuable or that might tell them more about where these constructs came from. He examines the weapons they were using, trying to gauge how strong they are.

Albrecht Results:
  • Albrecht Search on D20 (+3): 6 (1 roll)
  • Albrecht Appraise on D20 (+2): 19 (1 roll)
  • Albrecth Spot on D20 (+12): 27 (1 roll)
  • Albrecth Listen on D20 (+13): 19 (1 roll)
  • Krama Spot and Listen on D20 (+4): 9, 16 (2 rolls)

The Resiliant says...

Rivoril, thanks the Farmer for taking him in to do some work, in and around the farm. In exchange for food, water and lodging.
"If there be, anything I can do for you kind sir, in return"? He asks.
"Perhaps, I can make ye, some traps if you like,"? He adds.

Dark Druid says...

"They also knew where we were," Avan adds. "So let's get the wagon moving. No point stopping. Is everyone healed?"

As he says this he touches his wand to himself closing any cuts and scrapes received from his awkward climb down.

Avan thinks it's pertinent to know where these things came from, so he leads the group by following their tracks.

Avan Ohek Results:
  • Survival (track) on D20 (+14): 27, 23, 27 (3 rolls)

The Wild Whisper says...

Albrecht takes a quick second to heal Krama with a CLW from one of the wands, before following Avan. Albrecht and Krama each keep a sharp eye, ear, and nose out for any danger as the group makes its way through the canyons.

Out of Character: I am going to roll a bunch of CLW, and I will post how many I actually need next time.

Albrecht Results:
  • CLW on D8 (+1): 4, 3, 9, 5, 2, 2 (6 rolls)
  • Albrecht Spot on D20 (+12): 26, 19, 32 (3 rolls)

The Resiliant says...

Rivoril notices someone different heading towards the Inn.
He keeps his distance, opting to move silently so as not to alarm him or her?
I should go and see who this visitor is, perhaps introduce myself? Shout him or her a drink of ale?

Rivoril Results:
  • Move silently on D20 (+7): 23 (1 roll)

Lady of the Plains says...

I head towards the Inn and go inside. Going up the the Innkeeper, I ask the price of a meal. If not to much will get and find a table in a corner and see if I can't hear of any news in the area.
