He, loads up his crossbow again, lighting it up with an oily rag.
Fires off another two rounds.
After, retreating back for cover. Prefering to stay out of melee rangę.

Dark Druid says... The party is under threat and jackal out of position. Avan's only option is to summon some more and prepare to retreat. He spontaneously spends his last strong spell to summon more elementals in the gaps in the line (P22, O22).
"That's it for my summons," He shouts to the party. "Dena, have any magic that can let us retreat?" (Like casting Sanctuary on the jackal)
Next round Avan moves up (To P21) closer to his jackal and orders him to slowly retreat (Attack and 5-foot-step back if he's smart enough or else use the withdraw action). Avan whacks T2 with his quarterstaff.
Out of Character: Can't believe the number of ones I rolled last post! The flaming sphere is not a new one each round, but the same one controlled with a move action. Avan prefers to control the sphere if it has no target than to move himself. Jackal is power attacking for -2 attack/+2 damage.

Dark Druid says... Emboldened by the trolls losses, Avan will move closer and move the Flaming Sphere onto T5. The jackal is badly injured on 4 HP, but defiantly keeps fighting.
Next round Avan moves up behind his jackal to heal him with a Cure Light Wounds (Shared spell). The Flaming Sphere does its last bit of damage before extinguishing.
Then Avan joins Bastion in fighting the most injured troll.
